Elena is the director of the most prestigious gymnasium in the city. In her youth, she experienced betrayal by her beloved man and best friend, lost her child and gave up on her personal life, preferring to build a career. One day, a former friend approaches her with a request to arrange for her daughter Olya. Lena barely recognizes her - her husband died, the rest of the money is spent on fighting a serious illness. Lena succumbs to temptation and agrees to arrange for the girl to go to the gymnasium for a large bribe - this is retribution for Sonya's betrayal.

A friend sells an old family ring and gives Lena a bribe. From this moment on, events begin to develop completely unpredictably, dramatically and unexpectedly, involving more and more new people. Elena will have to correct her own mistakes, learn to forgive, trust people and find her love.
