Body Cam Cops has unprecedented access to a number of police units worldwide who are now using body-worn cameras – or body-cams – in the line of duty. This technology allows front line police officers in the US, Australia, the UK and Europe to capture video evidence of crimes as never before. The series captures the most outrageous, hazardous and extraordinary footage taken directly from the officers in the line of fire, providing an exclusive, authentic and immediate entry point for a way into compelling human stories. Intercut with the astonishing bodycam footage are interviews with the officers who filmed the incidents, the perpetrators and the victims of the crimes.
