The firefighters rescue a child trapped in a car under downed power lines, then attempt to treat a stockbroker with heart issues despite his insistence that his absence will cost him thousands of dollars. Dr. Early helps two young boys needing a bandage. The paramedics treat a teenager who ate 19 hamburgers in a failed attempt to win a competitive eating contest (the winner ate 20), and a burn victim after an explosive fire at a paint factory.
